§ 2 In-Game Casinos & Stores
[ 1 ] In game modes that allow building, players may set up their own stores and casinos. Casinos are permitted only if the stakes used were not purchased with real money (e.g., Coins). The following rules apply to casinos:
▸ Access to casinos may not be traded for real money.
▸ Only items earned in-game may be used as stakes.
▸ Odds of winning must be clearly stated at the entrance.
▸ The stake, the draw, and the payout must all take place entirely within the game. ▸ The mechanism for determining the winner must be based on game mechanics (e.g., Redstone circuits).
▸ The prize cannot be altered once the winner has been determined. All participants must have equal odds (with the exception of varying wager amounts).
▸ Casino advertising in the in-game chat is permitted once every 10 minutes per casino.
▸ Team members may request a full explanation of how the casino operates at any time.
▸ Violations of the casino rules may result in severe penalties (demolition, community griefing, score reset, or a ban).
[ 2 ] Advertising for in-game casinos and stores in the in-game chat is permitted once every 5 minutes.
